Sarah Vardy of Girl With Cake had this to say about shark finning:

"Millions of sharks are murdered every single day with their fins cut off and their bodies wasted shamelessly. It's sickening that humans are capable of such thoughtless malice and for what? Soup?! Shark finning is ruining our planet and bringing arduous, torturous deaths to beautiful, innocent, sharks who only live to keep our oceans in check. Get yourself in check and stop this cruelty! The lives of sharks are important and are in rapid decline due to shark finning. Without them, our oceans and our planet will suffer."
